Does anyone know if incoming freshmen are allowed to register for classes this summer? From what I've seen, it seems like you have to first meet with your advisor during summer orientation to discuss your fall course load--so does that mean I can't register for anything yet this summer???
Also, do you HAVE to dorm on campus during your orientation session? I live pretty close to the city, and would much rather commute.
THANKS!

Anyone please???

I think you choose classes at orientation, and I would call the admissions office about commuting for that weekend...

Actually they do have a summer program. I think they call it "precollege." If you're really interested you can go for it. But you'll need funds, financial aid for that doesn't quite work the same for summer schooling.

This should help, but I don't know if deadlines have passed yet. Good luck!

Oh wow I'm sorry :(, I just checked their deadlines and it said all materials have to be received by May 6th, 2005. Hopefully you heard about this program and acted on it before I told you about it (May 8th).

Don't worry too much though, I'm pretty sure financial aid available for summer schooling is close to nill if it exists, and thats even assuming you qualify.

Thanks so much, I'll look into it.
