Orientation Fees

Does anyone know if orientation fees can be paid by financial aid?

Yupp. If you are part of EOP, they will waive your orientation fees (and SIR deposit).

edit: if you mean applying financial aid grants towards orientation…that I am not sure xD

Yeah, that’s what I meant.
I know the $500 reservation fees goes toward room and board, so grants can pay for that.

Not sure about orientation.

I’m not sure about this year, but for a friend of mine who got in last year with EOP:

the $100 SIR fee waived and a reduced one day orientation cost from $75 to $35 billed to the student account and is deducted from financial aid (if you receive any).

Yeah, it can be.

Really? How do you know?

When you register for orientation it gives you the rates.

The Full Program fee is $265.00 per person and includes attendance, materials, 2 nights lodging in the residence halls and 6 meals in the dining commons.

The Program Only fee is $150.00 per person and only includes attendance and materials (no meals or overnight accommodations). If you would like this option, you MUST deselect the check box below.

AND IF YOU ARE IN EOP THE ORIENTATION IS NOT WAVIED!! THERE IS A REDUCTION FEE!

I would recommend the Full Program Fee. that’s the one i got and i can’t wait. i mean it gives you an expierence of what living in the dorms will be like.:)

ummmm does anyone know what the reduced price for the Full Program is?
I thought it was free xD

Read the website if you are accepted. There’s a link in your account. If not, google it. I recall it being 100 dollars, but don’t quote me on that.

Thank you everyone for reiterating what I’ve already read at the website.

I was asking if my loans/grants would pay for orientation fees.
