So when most people move in during Orientation- do they stay in their dorm rooms from the first night on or do some still stay with their parent's in hotels?

it would be to your benefit to spend the night with your floor/suitemates!

most do have dinner with parents and stuff…but most will say goodbye after the first day D:

Once I move into my room, I’m staying in it.

FREEDOM!!

haha.

99.9% of students will stay in the dorm room the first night.

Staying with your parents= terrible idea! Go out and make friends!

Def stay in dorm. Do orientation stuff and then go out with your new friends. Staying with parents is not conducive to making friends. They might be disappointed so make sure they know in advance.

Definitely stay in your dorm, and get to know your hallmates! :)

After I move in, my parents are staying one more night in their hotel room so that they can do the parent stuff on saturday, so we’ll say goodbye then. That might be a good compromise if they’re reluctant to leave you lol.

Haha. Same here. My parents are leaving on Saturday afternoon. Hallelujah.

haha do we even stay in our dorms for more than an hour to sleep? ;)

i heard the partying gets started alreadyyyy
