orientation q's

1) was it fun? did u guys get to chill at night/play games?
2) I'm going a day early...is there going to be a sign outside east quad or someone waiting for us to show us where to go?

They parade you around all day to different classrooms where different departments give you presentations on different campus services (buses, libraries, police, etc.) Most of it was pretty boring, but informative nevertheless. At night you can do pretty much whatever you want. Our tour guy took a bunch of us out to play ultimate Frisbee one night, and then the next night ann arbor had some film festival going on, so some of us went to watch MI:III on a huge screen they set up on campus. There will also probably be a lot of people in the lounge until way early in the morning, so you can chill there. Also, you don't really have to eat dinner in the dining hall if dorm food isn't your thing. There's enough time to where you can go out and eat in town somewhere.

As for the day early thing, there was huge banner that says "Freshman Orientation" or something like that above the entrance, and I doubt they take it down in between sessions, so I would just look for that. Then you turn right at the entrance and you're at the front desk.

oh man it was incredibly boring

skip "michigan 101" if you can

wow f'k. time to buy a ds
