Can anyone tell me if it would be appropriate to bring a younger sibling (rising sophomore) to Orientation? I figure I’d be split up from my daughter during various events so I could have her younger sister with us to show her the campus/process and also spend a little time with her since this summer is going to be very much centered around the New Graduate big sister. Concern is that I’d be at numerous “parent” sessions that might bore her. Thoughts?
The first day was much busier than the second as I recall. You may find an old agenda on Google.
I think you’ll have plenty of time to spend with your younger dau. It may, however, be roasting hot so keep that in mind. Plan on having your dau. do her Foreign Lang. Assessment on the day before Orientation officially starts. There will be a link to register in June ish time frame.
If you can manage to get there in June, do it. We went the week of July 4th, and some class times were already unavailable.
Yes-- Planning on doing a June one as she’ll graduate the end of May. I’ll see if my younger one would like to tag along–and yes, also plan to do the language assessment. Thanks!
