<p>Can anyone tell me what goes on during orientation. Do you choose the classes for the upcoming year? Is there any schol employees to help you? How do you know what type of classes to select?</p>
<p>During orientation you will be evaluated to determine which math, english and/or language courses you should take. You will meet with advisors and you will have an opportunity to sign up for classes, including one one or two general education classes.</p>
<p>English + math + language + gen ed + intro-to-major would be a full load for your first semester. If you're not taking one of these your advisor will suggest something else that is relevant to your major. If you don't have a major you should start thinking long and hard about what areas you would like to explore in search of one.</p>
