i was wondering if the $250 fee included staying at the dorms and also if a parent went to would they be able to stay at the dorms too. also, what activities are we doing that costs $250?

I think you’re paying for the registration (not bonding activities). That’s when we sign up for classes and whatnot.

do we have to stay in the dorms overnight or can we stay somewhere else and come back the next day

You have to stay in the dorms because of activities. Cant wait sound fun

I use to work as a Bear Facts Orientation Counselor of summer 08… for the following questions:

@ Verynervous

Yes, your parent can come with you…for orientation…but they would be attending a separate FAmily orientation…for a fee (i believe it was 50 dollars per person) …this pays for their food (lunch and dinner) …but they can’t stay overnight with you. Fortunately or unfortunately ill leave that up to you.

the 250 fee your paying…pays for your overnight stay, the food you consume during your stay, and the activities and labor being put in by the student workers and staff of the program.

Also…

for your latter post… @ verynervous…

You can’t leave for the overnight stay unless for given legitimate reasons/emergencies.

I don’t see why you would want to leave because highlander happenings goes on at night.

-Highlander Dance (with dj and music)
-food and snacks
-games room
-rock climbing
-SmoreS!
-and more

And listen to JAson, it will be fun! :D
