When it says bring
All official records you have received from UCLA, including this confirmation,
what else do you need to bring besides the confirmation?

Also does anybody know how close the LA- Westwood (UCLA) bus stop is to Rieber Hall? Or how to get there for that matter?

You really don’t need to bring anything other than your BruinCard. Other than that, just make sure you know your own AP scores so you know how to make your planner. Just to be on the safe side, all I brought to 101 was the folder with my acceptance letter. I didn’t really need anything in it though at all.

not much else. they give u ur DPR which councilors look at to see what classes u need. I changed my major during orientation so I did ALOT of walking during that time, talking to department heads. its reallly hot so be sure to bring water, comfortable shoes etc…they even give u a backpack and things like that

If you bring a laptop, don’t carry it with you (leave it in your room). You’ll need it probably for the second day. (Depending on how planned you are.)

The Amtrak stop is at the corner of Gayley and Strathmore. You’ll want to go east on Strathmore, north on Charles E Young Drive (up the hill), and then go left at De Neve Drive. Keep walking til you get to Rieber Plaza on the right.

(I already went to Orientation two days ago)
Bring Bruin Card
Bring Laptop (but dont carry with you, leave it in the dorm for first day. Second day, you’ll use your laptop when you get free time to SAVAGELY look for classes! gluck seriously. Bring some money cause the $15 dollars they give you for first and third day lunch might not be enough. Just bring $20 more…otherwise most everything else is free~

If you’re lost in UCLA, just ask ANYONE and they’re all nice to you and tell you how to get to wherever…unless they’re just like you…lost haha

HI EVERYONE! I am an orientation counselor and you need to bring all of the materials that were asked from you once you signed up for your session.

BE SURE that you bring your OFFICIAL transcripts from ANY 4 year university that you attended.
