<p>Can someone tell me how orientation works. Is it an all day event? Do we register for classes there? If you aren't around is there a way you can change your date to an earlier slot?</p>
<p>Also, when will the assignments for roommates be released?</p>
<p>Yes, yes, and no. You can push it back later, but not earlier (usually), as they fill the earlier sessions first. Once you're assigned a date, call the Orientation office if you can't make it. The dates are assigned by Undergraduate College, so you'll only really have two dates to choose from.</p>
<p>Not sure of the daily Orientation schedule yet; don't know if it's been finalized.</p>
<p>Room assignments are released some time around August 1.</p>
