Orientation Schedule Question

Here's an interesting question that most universities must encounter:

Suppose Orientation, which is when you will get your schedule for the upcoming year, is before you get your results from AP exams. The orientation days I signed up for are all in June so there will be no way to know if I'll be exempt from the English/Math APs I took my senior year, so when I get my schedule, must I sign up for English 101 since I haven't received my AP results?

How does the University accommodate and handle it? Do they just assume I'll make 4 or 5's on them?

Thanks in advance.

i emailed someone in admissions about that and they said that you can build your schedule based on how you think your AP exams will come out and if there are any changes when you get your results you can always make schedule adjustments

They have placement tests you can take at orientation.

Like undecided said, after you are initially cleared for registration, you can adjust your schedule as much as you want until Drop/Add ends at the beginning of the semester. Registration is online so it's really easy to change.
