orientation scheduling's up

Don't know if everyone can access this or not, but we received an email sending us to the Preview site to reigster for orientation. Done and done ... hopefully those dates are confirmed in a couple of days, although it does say that it won't allow you to register for a date if it's full, so I assume it should go through. Just thought I'd give a heads up. Get those calendars out. :)

edit: oops wrong forum lol

Do most students bring a parent/family member or go it alone?

I just signed up for D for Summer B also

Can you/ should you register for orientation if you haven't yet decided if you are going to UF I haven't paid the admissions deposit but I have already paid the partially refundable $200 housing deposit.

^ i was wondering the same question! we paid already the housing deposit and because we don't know yet if D is going to go ...she hasn't register for orientation... and she did not paid admission yet !! of course! but does she has to register already in order to have space??

I know FSU wouldn't let you sign up for orientation until you paid the $200 enrollment fee. I would think UF would be the same.

they waived the fee admission for my D!! this is a good news! someone else has its fees waived???

invictus8: i think my husband and i will go with my D to the orientation but i will not bring my 13 years old ! he is going to be bored and therefore annoying!! but i need someone to take care of him..

Do you mean the deposit was waved because you'll be attending orientation or waved permanently?

As for parents, my mom will be joining me for Preview.

when my D received her acceptance letter in the mail it said that the fee admission had been already waived!! i don't know why? maybe because we make less than $60.000 a year and therefore she was free lunch at her hs!! really i have no clue! but thanks UF!

Also, if you sent UF an application fee waiver or have SAT/ACT fee waivers, your deposit can be waived as well. Read here University of Florida - Admissions
