I leave tomorrow for orientation, and am trying to figure out what to pack. My warmest jacket is my letterman jacket from school. However, the last thing I want to do is draw unwanted attention...

sooo... to wear or not to wear, that is the question.

KBD no need to worry about drawing attention during this trip. Wear your jacket proudly....It is CS so it could be 30 degrees or it could be 80 degrees, and if you wait an hour the weather will change.

"if you wait an hour the weather will change."

No, that's Charlotte, NC. Here, wait 15 minutes, and the weather will change. :)

If the weather on Mon/Tuesday is as nice as it was today, then you probably won't need a jacket. If it's as bad as it was on Thursday, bring a heavy jacket...

I wore a pink polo with jeans the first day. Second day I wore a dark gray t-shirt. I don't know if I'd advise wearing the pink polo, but you don't have to be all dressy like a shirt and tie. You're going to do a lot of sitting and a lot of walking and the last thing I'd want to wear is a tie or something of the sort.

What not to wear..
A flight jacket with combat boots (1 kid)
Anything that you received from summer seminar

No matter how much you love the military, Air Force, flying, etc. this is not the place where you want to plaster yourself with insignia and look like the Air Force mascot.
