Orientation

So I'm going to be a freshman entering college this Fall. Well, I'm really nervous about Orientation, I don't know what to expect.

Any advice, experiences, etc. Would be welcomed.
Thanks!

Its no big deal. At mine, we had a one day orientation during the summer to sign up for classes/tour/whatnot and then we moved in a couple of days before the upperclassmen and had two days of classes (9-5?). Nothing hard about it, but it was rather boring.

Mine is two days, I’m staying overnight on campus. Hopefully it goes good. Thanks!

Most like a campus tour will be made. Then you will be selecting your freshman class. Nothing to worry about, jus follow along the guides and you’ll be fine.

nothing to worry about at all

I don’t think you have anything to worry about, but I understand completely. I’m transferring from a small community college to a much larger state university.

I think orientation though will largely depend on the size of your school. I know a friend of mine had a tour and gathering of the freshman. The one I’m going to…orientation basically spans across 3 days. Getting to know your housemates, your new community, touring campus, etc. I’m nervous but it sounds like so much fun!

So because I really haven’t had an orientation (I was out of state for my CC one) the only advice I can give is have fun and be yourself.

Thanks guys!

MissManda42- Enjoy your Orientation as well :)
