Quick question about orientation. If I go to the 5th orientation will I have major problems with getting classes that id prefer ie Spanish or other highly taken classes? Any input would be great.
In general, the earlier you go, the better chance you have at getting what you want. I’m not sure how many sessions there are this time - I believe for my 2, there were like 20 or something so 5th session isn’t that late.
Some classes add sections as the summer goes on, just remember that whatever you sign up for is not the end. You can continue to check availability and change classes throughout the summer. D got into her preferred math class in the middle of July after going to orientation in June (in that case they added seats, as soph she had class that added section).
Wow they’ve all filled up now it’s On 10 idk if I’ll be able to get any good classss

Again, for language they add sections as summer goes on. They just don’t want to commit to more sections until what they have fills up. You will get 5 classes you need for the fall even if it’s not perfect. Don’t worry, just go as soon as possible and like I said, check back frequently to look for open seats or new sections to switch into. For instance there are more sections of SPAN 109 showing up for last fall than are on current schedule and at least 3 sections show they ended up with open seats, so chances are if you keep checking as people drop you can snag what you want (or close).
Depending on your major, decide what’s most important to start off with…in other words, does your major have sequences in math or science or accounting that you really need to get done to keep on schedule. Make those the priority no matter when they are offered. Then work other classes around it. For first semester be willing to look at evening sections which often don’t fill up as quickly.
