Orientation

Alright so today was my orientation and I ended up leaving early because I didn’t see the point of staying. The thing is our orientation is a bit different. We have already been advised and signed up for classes. Orientation is basically “Let’s do group stuff” and then we receive our confirmed class schedules at the end. I don’t see why we have to receive a confirmed class schedule when we’ve already received our schedule from when we were advised. Anyone else have this type of orientation? Did you attend it? I just want to know that I didn’t waste my money by leaving because I’ve been told that they’ve never confirmed their class schedules ever. One guy I know just got his id photo taken and left.

What school is this and why would you leave orientation. I would suggest you have a change of attitude before the semester starts. Now your wondering if your schedule is actually confirmed. UNBELIEVABLE!

Maybe because I spent $75 expecting to have things done instead of play games. The main things they put on the website about orientation was getting your id photo taken and confirming your class schedule. I was pointing out the things that they said on the site that didn’t make sense because you can do it all on another day and/or online. Also everyone else (sophomores, juniors, and seniors) don’t have to confirm their schedules. They just get advised and it’s done. That’s why I didn’t find a reason to stay. Damn I think you’re the one who has an attitude here. I wasn’t bashing on their orientation. Anyways I found my answer. They just hand you another schedule and if there’s any mistakes on it, you can change it online whenever you want before the deadline. So yeah there’s wasn’t a reason to stay if you were there for the main stuff.

Orientation is all day event. You were expecting to get your ID and schedule and then call it a day. I guess you were not interested in learning about the place you will spend the next four years. It is not my intention to bash you and if I came across that way I apologize. I just have never ever heard of someone walking away from orientation because they felt it was a waste of time. I just find that amazing. Good luck to you at your need school.

I meant new school not need school.
