Why do we have to check in the night before? Thats insane, so we stay in the dorms for two nights?

It is not mandatory to live in the dorm during orientation but you might find it fun to meet other new students and get to know the orientation leaders better. The program starts at 8am the first day so you also could find it convenient to be right there on campus the night before.

Yeah, I paid for the dorm stay because I thought I was gonna go alone, I wonder what they are gonna have us to do the first night there. I'm taking my laptop.

Most kids make friends that very night and stay up late. The university has organized activities as well.

You won't be bored.

Im going but my mother, godfather, and I will staying at a local hotel.
