OS Visiting Next Week and ...

<p>We are planning to visit next week and was wondering what we should see beyond the regular college tour. Mechanical Engineering major. Being unfamilar with the location, you tend to miss the best spots until you are on campus. Thanks.</p>

<p>As for places to eat off-campus, I’d recommend The Esso Club (great meat and three lunch), The Smoking Pig (in Pendleton so I’m not sure if you have a car or not but then have fantastic BBQ), Brioso’s (Italian restaurant), El Jimedor’s (Mexican) and Pot Belly Deli (sandwiches). There’s also TD’s, Subway, Todaro’s, Moe’s, Tiger Town Tavern, Peppino’s, Mellow Mushroom, Firehouse Subs etc… downtown and on Tiger Boulevard you have every fast food chain you can think of (McDonalds, Chickfila, Zaxby’s, Cookout, Wendy’s, Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks etc…).
