OSS

I heard if you recieve a 1000$ scholarship as an OSS you qualify for in state tution at A&M. I am an engineering major currently out of state, and have a 3.9, what are my chances of getting this scholarship?

Are you a current student in Engineering? What year? You compete with all students for scholarships - OOS waivers are attached to certain scholarships from Texas A&M (not the outside sponsored ones, and they have to meet certain criteria to be eligible). There isn’t one named ‘OOS waiver’ it is a benefit of an eligible scholarship. In my opinion, they are pretty tough to get since you compete with all students, not just your year group. Good luck!
