I think I’ll have 1 rec and it’ll be good.

Bases on my ACT writing, my essays should be epic.

Chances?!?!?!?!?

Wow…I am going to be perfectly blunt…I had almost an identical resume for my application…My parent is an alum and from OSU…OSU has been my dream school since the day I was born…I got a 27 on ACT…3.3 GPA…same classes, extracurricular and out of state…I also had extenuating circumstances that effected my GPA and rank that wrote about but it obviously did nothing (there is a part in the application that asks to write about if you feel your HS performance was adversely effected by something)

My best advice is APPLY the first day you can…if you Apply IMMEDIATELY when the application comes out…like that day, do the essays, ect…I say you have a decent chance…IMO I waited too long when I applied in early November…I got deferred and then denied in March if that helps you…I applied for Fall of 09 as I am a senior this year…If you want to really increase your chances Apply for the Winter QTR rather than the fall QTR

umm weighted gpa isnt bad so maby a chance. bring that act up

I’m not retaking the ACT because I think it was a fluke.

I got 21s on all the practice tests.

Definitely retake the ACT. OSU doesn’t have to know about your new score unless you choose to submit it, after all.

you need to get that ACT to a 29-32 if you want to feel a lot better about your chances…you could get in with a 27 if you take my advice and apply like in August or Sept, As soon as the application comes available and send it in

i got in with a 2.5/2.75 and 31 ACT OOS and got a $7200 a year scholarship for my 31 ACT… i applied on the very last day (February 16th) … my course load was similar to yours… yeah… i got lucky… but that definitely gives you hope because i had about 100 hours of volunteer work at an animal clinic and freshman basketball… and that was about it… from what i’ve seen OSU loves kids with high standardized test scores… so dont think you have no shot
