Applied regular decision
32 act
3.8 unweighted GPA 4.153 weighted
Took most rigorous coursework
Plenty of extracurriculars and volunteering
Think I have a chance at getting into the cs program even though I applied regular instead of early?
Also forgot to say top 5% of my class
Which college are you talking about? Oregon State University?
I’m referring to Ohio state sorry!
I have very similar stats to you, 32 ACT, 3.8 unweighted 4.0 weighted and I was accepted to the CS program and got a very large scholarship. I applied early action though. I don’t know if your chances will be affected too much since you applied rolling admission over early.
My son is an Engineering Major at The Ohio State. He was admitted into the Engineering Major as a freshman. Be aware that all “direct admits” must still apply to a specific major after completing certain pre-qualification courses as directed per specialty. He took those classes and applied. The first time he was denied but thankfully the second time he was accepted. All majors in Engineering are fairly competitive. Here is the new admission criteria information
