Almost everyday I check the Application status and see the same thing.
I had a letter of recommendation written for me and will send out my personal statement by Wednesday! I had to call and ask what the statement should be about since there’s no prompt listed on the website. I wrote one, just have to perfect it now. I got an email from OSU this morning stating that 1/2 of my materials were missing, but as I mentioned before, I sent it all in about 10 days ago now. I called earlier today and they told me everything is on file now, and within 20 minutes they changed my application status to “Evaluation.” I’m terrified I won’t get in lol! I’m pulling out all the stops. I’m extremely unhappy at my current school and love the Columbus area. I think it would be a healthy change and I just really hope I get in. Congrats aestrd!!
Just checked my application status, and it says that I am admitted! I am so happy! Months of waiting are all in this moment! Good luck, guys. I hope you will get accepted too!
Congrats @TransferOracle!!! I am nervous as ever. I found a type in my personal statement literally like half an hour after I mailed it in. Now I’m really scared!!!
My GPA in college and high school so far was and is a steady 3.4. I was a member of National Honor Society, my speech and debate team, and am a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars now. But still! Ughhh!!!
@TransferOracle congratulations on getting in !
@osutransferme , don’t get too nervous, I’m sure you’ll hear back from them soon.
OSU admissions desk people are really considerate and helped me with it as well, since I messed up a few things in my statement !
And your GPA sounds absolutely fine, along with your EC’s I’d say you have a great shot at it.
Found out today that I got accepted! Congratulations to all. See you in the fall
@osutransferme What does it say you’re missing?
So are all of you fellow transfers having to live off campus too?
I just got an email that I have to live off campus. Thankfully I have a family friend I can stay with, but the problem is whether or not I’m going to qualify for housing exemptions. They can accept/deny and I’m super nervous about it.
