OSU Information Systems (Out-of-state) vs UIUC Econ/minor CS (In-state)

recently I have been accepted into the fisher college of business at OSU for Information Systems and Econ at UIUC (I plan on minoring in CS to buff my resume). Which should I choose? UIUC is a hell of a lot cheaper than OSU for me, but I know Fisher is a lot better than Econ in LAS.

To be honest, Information systems isn’t one of the stronger parts of Fisher programming. You do the business core classes, 4-5 classes from computer science department, and then a couple of classes on business information systems and analytics.

The good part may still be that you will benefit from career services of a business school (I know nothing about Illinois, but normally art and science colleges aren’t well organized to help their students find jobs).

As someone from IL I choose OSU not only for its academics but for its resources. OSU takes care of its students in a way that UoI seems to lack. I would try to choose, if possible, on where you see yourself succeeding. Where did you feel the most at home? Did you like living in the city or would you prefer a traditional campus. Both schools are amazing. I would pick the one that has the other characteristics that you are looking for.
