I have read the minimum admission criteria for future students. For each criteria I have more than enough credit (6 credit math, 6 credit science, 4 credit social studies, 4 credit english, 3 credit foreign language). I also am at the top 5% of my class at one of the top schools in Ohio, and scored a 33 ACT. However, I do not have a visual or performing arts credit which is included in the minimum admission criteria. Will this hinder my application to OSU?

My son was accepted with the condition that he take a V/PA course in his first 30 hours of attendance at OSU. He is OOS and it was not a requirement in his high school. I would not worry about it since your stats look good.

I agree with Realtime-same situation for our daughter. There are a number of Gen Ed classes that fit the bill. I believe she took Theater 101 to fulfill the requirement, if memory serves correctly. Good luck, you have some very nice numbers!
