Okay, you need to give us more info. First, what is OSU-- Oklahoma State, Ohio State or Oregon State?
Second, what is UMD?

Ive visited both and liked OSU just a little bit more. If u don’t know what OSU or UMD is, u may not be able to help me in the first place.
Definitely UMD over OSU, especially considering it’s comp sci.

IMHO, Ohio State has a strong alumni association so I would choose it over Maryland, a lesser known school.
@Vctory what if i don’t feel comfortable or don’t like CS at UMD, transferring to engineering or business is really hard. I won’t have many backup plans

I know Connie Chung went there but honestly I’m focusing on name brand.

Do you really think you’re going to make more $ doing the same job from UMD vs. OSU? I don’t think so.
Those rankings are really good info to know but don’t rely in it exclusively. If you are top student at OSU is still better than bottom student at UMD. Have you thought about that scenario?
Costs are about equal. Schools are pretty equivalent. Go to tOSU since you like it better.
UMD CS - this department is truly a category above tOSU and most in the US.

Have you visited? Which school do you like better? UMD dominates hands down for CS but if you like OSU better, then by all means, go there.
