I am from Ohio and plan on majoring in chemical engineering. I've been accepted into these three schools and am now awaiting finaid info from Minn and Wisc. I have received enough scholarships/aid from OSU to bring the cost down to $3-5k a year. I've received the $6,250/year Gold National Scholarship from Minnesota and a $3000 scholarship from Wisconsin. Cost aside, Wisconsin would be my first choice. The affordability of OSU is enticing. In chemical engineering, Minnesota is ranked 4th, Wisconsin 6th, and OSU 21st. Would it be worth the cost to go to a more prestigious chemical engineering school? I am asking in terms of the effect it'll have on my graduate school chances and impact on my career.

I have found this decision to be more difficult than I could ever imagine. The financial aid I receive will obviously play a huge role. I have fallen in love with both Minneapolis and Madison. I am looking for advice for my decision so thanks for any input.
