Just FYI. Usually when I view other boards to provide a counter argument (I don't do it too much but sometimes) I find pretty reasonable people and it goes very well. Without saying anything I would regret, I just caution people to following posters to Cornell's boards. If you want to go see, I started the OT thread and participated in the ND vs. Cornell thread but you will see why it got me going so I had to leave. Usually they are very nice. I found the Brown and Amherst people overall to be reasonable and welcoming, but I was mocked on the Cornell board for asking an honest question pertaining to my research and it isn't a place I plan on going again unless I really want a referral. Just a head's up!

It isn't letting me edit or delete this thread but please ignore it, the scuffle was because they thought I was throwing a low-blow at Cornell because I asked about suicide but really I asked because that is my research interest. I just was confused by why I was met so harshly, but it is because they thought I was an ass, lol. Oops.

What the hell are you talking about? Why would you possibly feel the need to warn people about "following posters to Cornell's boards"? Do you actually think that anyone here cares about the drama you are trying to invent?

Those questions were strictly rhetorical; please don't try to answer them.

If I could have deleted this thread I would have but it was a bit misunderstanding between me and the Cornell board which I have talked about on both boards. Thanks for the criticism though, perhaps I should just leave these boards for a while, I swear.

EDIT: I PMed nameless to try to make sure he knows the situation as well

irish68178 please don't leave these boards, we all very much so appreciate your input. Just ignore the comment bby nameless as we will ignore this thread in its entirety.

lol, it would be amazing if I could leave these boards. Don't worry, I don't mean to be dramatic, this just wasn't a good day for me on the boards and I do regret this thread (but especially because it was over nothing). I have PMed nameless trying to get in touch with him and talk about this, but I am ready to forget about it and I will as soon as I finish smoothing things out over on the Cornell board. Don't worry, while it tempted me just to leave for a while, I don't think I could even if I wanted to, lol. This board means a lot to me and I really do care for a lot of people on this board.
