Any suggestions for a college that offers OT (Occupational THerapy) or Sepcial Education teaching for my daughter, who is now a junior?

I expect she will end up with a 3.4 ish GPA (unweighted), 2150 ish SATs (great verbal, writing, so-so math), and outstanding ECs having to do with OT and special ed. She doesn't want to wait until she has completed a traditional liberal arts education to start handson OT or special ed experiences.

Which state do you live in?

MA, but my daughter wouldn't mind being far away.

agree that an LAC probably wont have what shes looking for.

Quinnipiac is known for its OT and PT programs
Boston U might work, if its not too close?
Ithaca
USC and UNC, though would be reachy out of state
Temple
could get good merit money at U Hartford

Springfield College actually has a wonderful OT and PT program- I'm friends with an admissions officer there and she said that the applicants for those programs have the stats to get into any school in the country...

There are a lot of 5 yr programs for OT. Otherwise you can get an undergraduate degree and major in a related field. Tufts has a great OT program, but for 5 yr programs there is Elizabethtown, Dominican U in Ca, University of St Louis, USC. Check out the AOTA website and it will list all the programs that exist whether masters, 5 yr masters or 6 yr doctrate. There are some great scholarships out there. My D got into some of these schools but decided to wait and do 4 yrs undergrad then decide for sure. She has worked in the OT field since she was 10 as a volunteer.
