I'm having bad luck trying to find things I can coterm in outside of Computer Science or Engineering. Do other coterm programs exist, specifically with a humanities slant?

When you Coterm, you cannot coterm for an MBA, correct?

Do students who coterm still major/minor alongside the coterm, or just get a major and their coterm degree?

Thanks

You can coterm in dozens of fields outside of engineering. The page at [Coterminal Masters Degrees | Graduate and Undergraduate Studies](http://www.stanford.edu/dept/humsci/cgi-bin/gus/content/current-coterminal) lists coterm programs in the school of Humanities and Sciences. A list across all departments is at http://www.stanford.edu/dept/humsci/external/under/documents/COTERM_MANUAL03-17-10.pdf . I’ve cut and pasted the humanities list at the bottom of this post.

Coterminal masters degrees do not have to be in the same field as your undergrad degree. I did a coterm masters in both EE and MSE, with only a EE undergrad degree. The program I did was intended to foster entrepreneurship by balancing a tech and business-related degree. I understand some other engineering programs use the same approach with a joint MS + MBA . I don’t think these degrees or any MBAs are listed as a coterm program, but you could probably effectively make it a coterm by applying in a specific order (get approved as coterm engineering, then apply for a + joint MBA).
