<p>I feel a little bit concerned now over the chances of my admission. I completed my first semester at UW Whitewater, got a 3.78 (4.0 scale), took a variety of classes, got a letter of recommendation sent in, and did an extracurricular. My concern is my HS grades: I took some fairly rigorous classes but got 3.1. How much will they pay attention to my HS vs College semester, and are there others that have been in my situation?</p>
