Other religions on campus

How diverse is the campus is terms of religion? Is it predominately catholic? Are there any Jews or Muslims? I've noticed that's it's the only catholic school that doesn't have a Hillel on campus.

Other religions are present, but the vast majority of students (90%) are Christian, mostly Catholic (80%).

According to ND’s website: Notre Dame’s student body is 83 percent Catholic; however, people from all faith traditions are welcome.

My friend’s cousin goes to notre dame. He is Jewish, but still loves notre dame. He doesn’t feel that going there interferes with his faith at all.

I don’t believe you will find a more open minded, religious campus in the country. Our son just graduated and is not Catholic and had no issues at all. At freshman orientation his dorm had both a Jewish RA and one who was Mormon. I believe that non-Catholic services require leaving campus to attend.
