<p>Is anyone else having difficulty focusing on USNA and completing all of the financial aide requirements for other schools at the same time? It feels like the twilight zone...and like we own a small % of the post office this year!</p>
<p>I felt like a college kid pulling all-nighters. Had to find check stubs and couldn't wait for the W-2's in order to meet deadlines. It has been a crazy time as my spouse just retired from 21 years in the service.</p>
<p>RiceMom2009~does this mean your son or daughter applied to Rice also? My son is interested in Rice too. I would be curious to hear your thoughts as you compare schools! JM</p>
<p>She is going to Rice! We are all thrilled, including everyone in the small town where I am from. One of my classmates went there in the 80's. She was accepted to all the schools she applied to, with NROTC, her major and top 50 school being the criteria.</p>
<p>Congrats Ricemom2009~our son may be in her class if he decides to try and move his ROTC scholarship. He is waiting to hear from his other schools with USNA on the top of the list! Rice is beautiful and we visited in October...are you going to OWL weekend? We will be out of town. What do you know about their ROTC program? Cograts again! JM</p>
