other set of sentence completions?

Are propitiate and conciliate answer choices for the same question?

wasn't it auspicious not opacity?

Apropos is the correct answer for that question. xD

Pretty odd on my part, but I bought my puppy from a kennel called Apropos, & that's how I knew the meaning.

As for the others, I'm not 100% sure since I can't even recall the questions at the moment. I put what brainpolice23 put for the most part though.

Auspicious and Opacity are answers for two separate questions.

etti-- auspicious and opacity were different questions.

They decided to undertake their voyage (or whatever) because all the good signs were present-- it seemed AUSPICIOUS. Or something like that.

The critics disliked the completely incomprehensible novel because nobody could get past its OPACITY.

what was the question with conciliate in it? i dont remember it

oh thanks kristina

yeah i got those two right, but i did it pretty fast so i dont remember much

just in case do you remember the other choices in the opacity question?

No, don't remember, sorry. Whenever I get them easily, I can never remember the other choices. I spend the whole time staring at all the ones I'm torn on. haha

antecedent was another answer about flat breads and pizza

Yes, that was correct. I love the random things CB writes questions about.

I find it amusing how CB distorts the meanings of words almost to malaproprism most of the time. It's just so so overdone.

oh yeah antecedent i remember

i was mostly focused on getting through the sentence completions quickly, and focusing on the passages so yeah..lol dont remember anything!

hey...are there different versions of CR vocab? cuz i don't remember putting those answers...

yeah there's different versions

Yeah there are different versions of all the sections.

something about a guy being a loner..

was it solicitous or something?

Sounds vaguely familiar... not sure. Know any other answer choices?

i believe "solicitous "is from different section

all i really remember is that it was the first question in the section.. :*(

I had the version of the test with the Butterfly Paired Passage. Since I had an extra grammar section all of my Critical Reading sections counted!
