Any cc’sers attending the audition on Jan 19th? I would love to meet any other cc parents.

It is my d’s first college audition. She is excited and nervous (so am I).

If this is your first audition, then you are going to the right place. The Otterbein staff is so welcoming and helpful. They do everything they can to make it a positive experience.

Check out the Otterbein College posts. The whole audition process is outlined there, so you can feel very prepared! Best of luck!

My d's first audition is also on January 19th. She's also nervous but we both have a good feeling about our dealings with Otterbein. Good luck and we'll see you there!

We (my d and I)really have a great feeling about this visit also...they have been so nice. I am excited to see the campus. See you there!

I auditioned January 26 and it was such an amazing experience.
I felt so at home and comofortable it just felt like singing in the shower, only better. Haha. So the school is great and everyone was SUPER nice. Good luck to all who've auditioned!

This post above is the first time I have ever heard someone compare an audition to singing in the shower. Love it! :)

Seriously, doctorjohn and company really are so incredibly welcoming that it relieves auditioners' stress somewhat. They seem to have the whole audition process down to an art. Otterbein is the little school with the big heart (and big reputation for theater training), obviously!
