OU vs. Notre Dame

Well it is down to two schools but I need a little help making the final pick. I am Catholic and that is very important to me. I love the tradition at ND and the atmophere is perfect. I like that it is smaller and I would assume that the academics are better. Basically I have fallen in love with it. But Oklahoma is very close to home and because of the National Merit Scholarship it is almost free. Any ideas? Is the cost going to be worth it? I'll be about 40 thousand in debt after four years at ND.

First of all: Nice sn :) .

Second: $40k in debt isn't too bad. If ND is your dream school, go there. After all, it's only money. Your opportunities after ND will be excellent and you likely have no trouble paying off the loans.

big thing: when you graduate. no one will say, "oh gosh you went to ou, let me help you get that job" or "let me give you that job"

and second you have to specify "ou is oklahoma university" otherwise people will have no clue what school you are talking about (which is the problem i had, i actually thought you were talking about ohio state u at first)

both situations are nonexistent at nd. everyone loves nd, and there is a huge alumni base. and since everyone loves nd, everyone knows nd lol.

The debt is a lot, but I don't regret coming here though I have over 100,000 in debt. Notre Dame was my dream school and I can't imagine being anywhere else. It is a lot of money, that is without a doubt, but you only have one chance at college and it is only four years; you don't want to regret not doing it, you know? Also, think about it...what is money good for? You can spend it on something you want, or you can spend it on something you want...otherwise it is kind of worthless. If ND is something you want, it can do a lot for you and it truly is an investment
