<p>sat 1 scores are in.. i did 60 pts. worse on CR.... ouch.. i had a 40 pts increase overall since last test.. but if i add up the best scores from both.. i end up with 2200.</p>

<p>will the fact i screwed up my CR on oct test greatly affect my chances of admission?.. i got 800 of math..and 60 pts increase on writing, 720.</p>

<p>They take only the highest sections from all your tests and put them together.... right?</p>

<p>But they still see every score though. They take your top scores but they do notice things like if you've taken the test 10 times or something.</p>

I wonder if they really make no difference between a good score in one sitting and the same score made up from composites from different tests.</p>

<p>LOL.. i know its a competitive score..but i have to make up for my GPA....its pretty low..like around 3.3</p>

<p>My writing dropped 110...don't feel tooo bad...Everyone that i've heard from said their SATs are lower...odd.</p>

Thats right, while not worrying about the SATs one must always be trying to figure out how to destroy the college board and their evilness. They've taken my pride. I'm going to take the SAT again sometime next spring (after I've gotten into college somewhere) just to prove a few points: 1. The CR section of the SAT has little value because you can study up your score (yes, I am actually going to buy the SAT book and study for hours just to prove a point). 2. I am capable of getting an 800 on the math section. 3. The college board will put profanity online when I write a very nasty, profane letter to them in place of my essay section. I will then take pride in having that essay scanned into their system and shown online.
Complaining about getting a 2200 is completely justified. Everyone holds themselves to different standards. It is not your place to criticise the standards others hold themselves to.</p>
