Our caps and gowns arrived today

So our caps and gowns came in today. We had to try them on so we know if they need to be sent back. Wearing the muumuu and the funny hat has suddenly made high school seem so over. I can't wait to be done only 10 days left!

haha 10 days! wow you're lucky. there are 26 school days left for us... we're graduating on june 18th!

we got them awhile ago =P

We still have over a month of school :( ... but classes end in two weeks !!! :)

Graduating the 25th

27 days of school left

I win

Senior checkout in less than 3 weeks. As sweet as that sounds, there are still two more AP tests and three finals. It never ends.

I'm a junior, and because of APs, I'm done with school. Graduation is in 3-4 weeks. We actually wear traditional mu'u mu'us and the guys wear white dress pants and shirts with a red sash (hawaiian). We don't have caps and gowns.

Wow...I LIVE in Hawaii, and even we don't do that. Caps and gowns for us.

28 more days!

our grad is may 22. Finals are on the 18 and 19.

graduation= june 28th
but school ends like 10 days before that, though technically school's pretty much over after ap exams for me

our graduation is june 20th (or 21st... i forget.) anyways, its at 9pm on a monday because our district forgot to sign us up for a graduation time at the Tacoma Dome. and girls have to wear white caps/gowns. boys get pretty blue ones. i almost checked 'male' on the form just so i could wear blue instead of white.
But yeah, schools pretty much over for us after tuesdays AP chem test. woohoo!

lol Dani, I live in Hawaii too. Where are you from?

I meant that our school is dumb and thinks we need to be more "hawaiian" so we do the mu'u mu'u & cowboy outfit instead of caps and gowns, for no real reason, except that so has everyone else at this school for the last 50 years, and inertia is strong.

oooh lucky, you actually get caps and gowns! My school is dumb and instead of providing us girls with something to wear, we have to go buy our own white, below the knee, and with straps dress while the guys get the same white tux without even paying. it was a pain (and waste of 5 hours and $200) to find a white (not off white or ivory) dress that worked for graduation.

calla66.... we get caps and gowns but we also have to get the same impossible to find white dress. I bought one and it was like eggshell instead of pure paper white so I brought it into the vice principal(whom I'm fairly good friends with) and I asked if it would pass.... nope! I returned the dress and found a different one. It's kind of stupid but we wear the dresses at senior awards night and the gown at actual graduation.

bump up this thread so maybe Dani will see it, if she's not replying to PMs
