Our school does not have AP course!

Hi I’m a sophomore international student planning to attend universities in the states. I go to an international school but sadly my school does not have ap course because of its small size and short history. They got approbations for some subjects for next year but most of them are the subjects that I suck at… The problem is that my dream schools have very high standards and it seems that they want students to take ap courses as much as they can. I’m trying to do my best outside of school but it is really hard to do out of school as much as the students who have ap courses in there school. Some people offered me to move to a different school but I really love my school. When my gpa, sat, and sat2 seems to be the acceptance average, would it be a big problem if I did not take ap courses from school and had fewer courses?

It’s not about who has the most AP courses, it’s about who goes the furthest with what they have and challenges themselves the most. I thoroughly recommend that you take any that are offered, but also go out and do as much as you can in addition. If you can, take classes at a nearby university or online.

They can’t penalize you for something you never had the opportunity to do. That would be unjust and immoral. Instead, they look at how you did with what you have.
