Too rushed to make spelling corrections? Oh, the poor, overworked dears. Here’s a concept. Spell it right the first time.
I find the attitude of “if you grasp the content, it’s good enough” appalling coming from a teacher. Can the kids use that excuse, too? Is “close enough” ok in math class, too?
This is the same mentality which leaves elementary school librarians asking for volunteers to come reshelve the books because heaven forbid they stay late or work through their lunch hours. Be a professional.
