Out for undergrad business conference?

I've been accepted to attend this conference but I don't know if its worth attending.

I would go if it'll give me the chance to network with working professionals and increase my chances to get a job. Does anyone know about this?

Also I'm not LGBT, but I am an ally and I openly support LGBT rights.

Btw they are covering for travel living, and food (I think) for me.

I know nothing about this conference but look at the schedule of speakers and what they are offering. Is it mainly for students? If so, you probably won’t be networking with working professionals except for the organizers unless they have a career fair or something like that as part of it. See if the topics they are covering are of interest to you.

If there is no expense for you involved with this thing, why not go? Forget networking and usefulness in the job search… if it seems like it might be fun, doesn’t it make sense to go for the sake of going?

I’m just not seeing a down side here, regardless of whether it “helps” you in your search.
