My school does not have many clubs and extracurricular activities. What are some activities and things I can do?
Get involved in a community theater. Volunteer at a soup kitchen. Walk dogs for an animal shelter. Sign up for a political campaign. Join a crafts group at your library. Learn a foreign language on-line. Attend local school board and town council meetings, and write about the issues. Join a hiking or wilderness exploration club. Experiment with a variety of cuisines. Offer to tutor a younger child or a struggling classmate. Find some interesting locations to photograph. Organize a special-interest group, even an informal one, incorporating aforementioned ideas or others (e.g. film-viewing and discussion, etc.).
