Isn't it true that you can have a relationship outside boarding school?

Like, if you go to boarding school is it hard to have a relationship with someone who goes to public school nearby? You can get by with SMS, email and seeing each other on the weekends and after school...right?

Disucss. :)

This is really worrying my friend. She is going to an all-girl's boarding school a while away from her old public school and she thinks she and her boyfriend have to break up or something.

I only see my boyfriend maybe once, or if I'm lucky twice, a year. It's because he's in college and myself in high school. People don't have to break up because of the distance. I last saw him, what, one month ago and won't see him until next June. Before that, I hadn't seen him for the longest time, and yet we're still together.

It all depends on if they work on keeping in touch together really.

I agree. Long distance relationships are not impossible. For the past year I was only able to see my boyfriend once every 4 months or so, and we're still together (seeing eachother more now though). However, be willing to break up if it really isn't working out.
