Out-of-State Acceptances

If you got accepted to UCLA out of state, would you mind posting your stats? Thanks!

Here is a thread you can look through: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-california-los-angeles/1477169-ucla-official-class-2017-decision-thread.html</a></p>

Thanks, although I read the entire thread and there are very few out of staters on there lol. UC Dreams, do u know how out of state averages compare to in state averages?

^ On a related note, how good is the financial aid for OOS students?

@LaLaLa relatively speaking, oos stand a better chance of getting into ucla coz ucla is facing huge financial problems. ill say that an oos with a 2100 sat score + decent ec + average essay can easily get in.

For Fall 2013, the out-of-state admit rate for UCLA is relatively high (33%) compared to the admit rate for California high school students (17%) but you will be competing at the same level as California students when it comes to your GPA and test scores.

Here is a source with most recent profile of OOS students admitted to UCLA:
[Profile of Admitted Freshmen - UCLA Undergraduate Admissions](http://www.admissions.ucla.edu/prospect/adm_fr/frosh_prof.htm)

Financial aid for UCLA is not good. The UC’s are in a financial crisis and don’t have a lot of money to give away right now. Chances are you will get little if any help.
