•Started Destination Imagination Team and Program at our High School. We have competed all four years, and have helped start other teams. (7 Hours a week)
•Varsity Math Team. I am, this year, a Tri-Captain. Last year, I was ranked Second Highest-Scoring Junior in the League. I am currently the First Highest-Scoring Senior (4 Hours a week)

<p>Yes you will get merit scholarship…probably offered to apply for BK, but you should also get regents(however, I don’t know if it is only for IS). Even if they offer Regents to OOS, the difference for IS and OOS tuition is hefty, so complete your FAFSA</p>

<p>I did not notice NMSF as an award, many BKs are NMSF</p>

<p>Also there is something called the Terp Payment Plan, they allow the cost to be spread across 8 or 10 pmts with no interest. IMHO UMD is cheap when it comes to merit, DS got Presidents, we are OOS, this was the lowest amt he received from any college. 88K was the highest U of Miami Florida, the avg was in the 40K range. Of course he wanted UMD so we are paying it. </p>

<p>I would not expect alot from FAFSA unless somebody else in the family is in college, b/c 100K bracket is not needy :eek: Not my belief just FAFSA</p>
