Hey Guys--

I'm from N. CA and want to go to michigan. Do you think its possible?

Taken two languages, through AP Spanish, and dual enrolled in 5 Unit CC classes in Chinese both semesters junior year. Around 15 honors/ap classes, very tough load. Top 10% at school.

Member of AIM (Academy of Integrated Humanities and New Media), a selective, rigorous academic program that includes production of documentary films.Recently featured in top education magazine as the future of education. May win a student emmy this coming season.

Summer intern in DC for my congresswoman, only hs student to get this intern position.

What do you guys think... I think i have a great shot.

Sorry to be the party pooper, but you do not have a "great shot."

You're more of a slight reach, mainly due to your out of state status. With your OOS status, your test scores are diminished to lower levels. As such, I would work on improving your test scores, even if that means studying over the summer (yes, summer) and subsequently retaking one or both in the fall.

Your rigor of course load is great, but your test scores are pretty low for an OOS applicant.

Improve to around a 31 on the ACT or 2110 on the SAT and you should be a match.

Hopefully that helps.

Good luck.

jxu pretty much covered it, reach
