Out of State Chance?

Can anyone tell me what my chances are? I really want to get in...
Female legacy student in NJ
GPA: 4.00 UW, 4.24 W
SAT: 700 CR, 780 M, 700 W - 2180 overall
SAT IIs: 720 World History, 710 Biology
2 APs, 2 Honors junior year
5 APs senior year
no class rank, approx. top 5%(?)
activities: varsity field hockey, tutoring/mentoring, mission trips, soup kitchen, 2 jobs, various other clubs, national honors society member, etc.

I think you probably have a shot at admission. I want to say: "good shot", but I'm hesitant. I'm hesitant because you have so few AP and Honors classes. Your junior year has just a few rigorous classes. You really only jump into that AP world when you are a senior>>but by then, it's sort of too late, sort of? Hard to say. The rigor of classes that a student takes is closely scrutinized in the whole admissions process, not just by UVA, but most reputable Universities. Usually that rigor starts with the Freshman year of HS. However, your SAT's are fabulous, your estimated rank is wonderful too. Your legacy status will certainly play to your favor. So, yes, you have a chance. Do well in those senior year AP courses, and I suspect you'll do well with University admissions too. Best of luck.

Right now, I say that a lot of the most important cards are playing well, in your favor: great GPA, great SAT, great rigor of courses taken, legacy status, great rank and EC's.
