Out of state chances at UCSD, UCLA, UCB?

I think I'd be better off if I lived in Cali, but I want to know how much out of state will hurt me..

UW GPA ~3.6
SAT 1480 740 M/V
Decent ECs, etc.

Thanks in advance

UCSD should be fine, UCB and UCLA not so much.

You want to pay $40K for a UC? If you can get into Cal or LA OOS you can get into a great private for the less money (UCs take most 5 years or more) and actually graduate in 4 years.

I would say slight reach/match for UCSD, reach for UCB and UCLA. Its alot harder if youre out of state for UC :/

rhinoplasty:

UCB/UCLA: Slight Reach (out of state)
UCSD: Match (out of state)

Come to cali. Cali is the best.

UC Berkeley: Slight Reach-Reach
UCLA: Slight Reach-Reach
UCSD: Match-Slight Reach

I think you have a good shot in at least getting into one of these schools. your gpa is too low for all three but you make up a quite a bit of that if not all of it through your excellent sat. Best of luck!

Thanks, I know that out of state hurts a lot but I wanted to know if it's even worth applying. Are they really that expensive? Princetonreview says avg out of state tuition for Berkeley is around 19k...
