Out of state chances for UCI?

I’m currently a sophomore and I had straight A’s freshmen year.

This year, however, I might end the year with three B+'s.

If I end up with mostly A/A-'s and maybe 5-6 B+'s in total, sophomore, junior, and senior year, do I still have a fairly high chance of getting into UCI as an out of state resident?

Any other good coed schools in California that I could apply to?

The majority of Colleges in California are coed. If you are OOS, the UC’s and Cal states will not offer you financial aid so expect to pay around $36,000 for CSU’s and $55,000 for the UC’s.

What are your test scores? CSU/UC GPA at end of Junior year? https://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/

I would look at privates instead if public schools if money is an issue. Loyola Marymount/Claremont Colleges/Occidental/USC/Univ of Pacific/Univ of San Diego (USD)/Univ of San Francisco(USF) to name a few.

As an OOS applicant, you’ll want to be comfortably above average which you can find here:

Do your best, participate in ECs you care about, kick butt on standardized tests and check back in at then end of next year.

Good luck
