Out of State Chances for UNC, UC Berkeley, UCLA

<p>UW GPA: 3.91 (B's in Honors Precalc in 9th grade and AB Calc in 10th, but A in BC Calc!!)
W GPA: 4.95 (for what it matters, but out school gives .1 extra and .05 extra to AP and Honors respectively)</p>

US: ?? (4 im guessing)
Calc 2: ?? (5 im guessing)</p>

<p>Senior Year: Lit, Econ, Chem, Physics</p>

<p>SAT: 2180 (660 CR, 780 M, 740 W)</p>

<p>EC's are nothing great. A couple of clubs.
Ran indoor/outdoor track for 9-11, but never got varisty HAHA, im not a great athlete..</p>

<p>Leadership/Volunterring: 36 hours of "Team Leader" for UPenn's teen hospital volunteer program this summer. (4 hours for 1 day for 9 weeks)</p>

<p>I know my EC's are nothing good and I'm just wondering if my stats alone are good enough for these schools. THanks!!!! I shall chance back!</p>

<p>I’m interested in UNC OOS too! From what I have read, I think you have a good chance at UNC OOS. UCB and UCLA could be reach (but I don’t know much about UC OOS) but I think that UCB and UCLA have a low percentage of OOS students. But, you never know! You would probably have a good chance if you got some great recs and wrote some awesome essays! Good luck!</p>

<p>I’m not sure how selective UCB and UCLA are for out of state but in my opinion if you were instate you’d have pretty good chances. For out of state it would be helpful to know class rank and subject tests if you’ve taken them. I think for out of state UCB and UCLA are a very low reach for you.</p>
