Out of State Questions

Hello I am re-applying to UW this year for the junior year.

What are the chances of scholarships for out of state?

I looked at the department I'm transferring into, but it all says TBD.

I got in when I was applying as a freshman but of course due to out of state tuition fees I could not attend. Could I reuse those essays and just fix them up a little?

Just use the same essay but probably reword it? Or would I have to completely create a
new one?

Can I figure out a minimum gpa or a gpa range for my department?

Honestly it depends on your grades and what your financial situation is.

I’m sure you could if you wanted to. I doubt they remember what your essays were like before. I’d probably update them.

It depends on the overall strength of your application and, for merit scholarships, has nothing to do with your financial situation. For example, my estimated family contribution was >$50K and I still received a $56K scholarship from UW. You won’t find any out-of-state scholarships on their website, however. I even typed in the name of my scholarship and nothing came up.
