Out of state questions

How much harder is it to get into BHP from out of state with a 1420/1600?

Near impossible?
Does the BHP have the same preference for In staters at the rest of the campus?

Also, how is oos financial aid?
Anyone know?

I am trying to decide between Rice and BHP for out of state?
and I know Rice doesnt follow top 10% texas law and I know they have excellent oos fin. aid

But I want UT's side?
thanks

The honors programs choose their members holistically. The first hurdle is to be accepted to the business school, which is a challenge.

Once you have been chosen for admission to the business school, I don’t think the Business Honors Program does some special weighting system that makes it easier for a particular student to be admitted to BHP depending on whether the student is from in state or out of state. There will be a lot more Texans in BHP because there are a lot more Texans admitted to the business school.

I believe the business school at UT would not be considered to be particularly generous with merit aid. I believe UT as a whole would not be considered to be particularly generous with need-based financial aid for out of state students.
